Irene Connolly, PT, MS is a graduate of Kean University / Rutgers University, formerly University of Medicine and Dentistry, with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in physical therapy and Drexel College of Medicine, formerly Hahnemann University, with a Master’s degree in orthopedic physical therapy, performing thesis research on patients following anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction. She has over 30 yrs of diverse patient experience, including treatment of orthopedic, sports and motor vehicle injuries, and neurological conditions including amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, brachial plexopathy, and complex regional pain syndrome or formerly reflex sympathetic dystrophy. Through her clinical and academic training, and her own experiences rehabilitating from prior injuries, Irene offers knowledgeable, skilled care from a compassionate viewpoint.
Irene has transitioned her schedule to allow more time for teaching, which is one of her passions. She teaches healthcare/medical professionals and physical rehab professional students about nerve injuries, pain, and other physical therapy topics.
